GV Wine Merchants has long established ties with Hong Kong, and we value a close relationship with our clients. We offer best in class storage facilities in Hong Kong for all our clients, and have regular shipments from the UK.

Shipping

We currently ship from the UK to Hong Kong every 12 weeks. Our team are always on hand to assist with arranging deliveries, and adding wines to upcoming shipments.

Wines are shipped from our UK warehouse to CN Logistics in Hong Kong, before being delivered on to your chosen address.

Currently the charge is £85.00 per case of 12, and £45 for a case of 6 bottles delivered to your door.

Where two 6-bottle cases are ordered, and where we can, we will consolidate these into a single 12 bottle pack.

Storage

Our clients have a choice of storing their wines under Bond in the UK, or locally in Hong Kong. 

Every client storing with GV Wine Merchants has a Private Reserve Account that moves their wines to an off balance sheet fixed asset register. This then ensures that each client fully owns the wines, meaning they are fully protected and safe from all eventualities. Storage charges are incurred and these include insurance at full replacement value.

For those looking to have quick access to their wines, and keep their collection on hand in Hong Kong, we use the superb storage facilities provided by CN Logistics.

Those wishing to store for the long term can hold their portfolios in our Bonded facility in the UK. With access to one of the longest established and busiest trading hubs for the international wine markets, the UK Bonded system has been designed to facilitate trade without borders, avoiding UK taxes and with documented provenance. We use state of the art Bonded facilities provided by EHD, based in Chilmark, Wiltshire, where we are storing in excess of 16,000 cases of wine from all parts of the world on behalf of our clients.
